In 2014, Japan passed the Act on the Safety of Regenerative Medicine (ASRM). This landmark legislation is what the Perinatal Stem Cell Society is working to create similar regulatory framework for the United States. We believe that the guidelines outlined in the ASRM balance the need for safety as well as providing access to stem cell and regenerative medicine treatment options and procedures.
