Our Mission is to facilitate Stem Cell Therapy for Veterans and First Responders |
The Perinatal Stem Cell Society is very excited for the changes coming to the stem cell field in the United States. Although we do not know exactly what is in store with the new administration we have decided we are not going to wait any longer to deliver Stem Cell Therapies to Veterans.
Founded in 2013, by the current President, the International Perinatal Stem Cell Society, Inc., is a 501(c)3 patient focused non-profit organization. For the past 14 years, we have diligently worked diligently to reshape the regulatory landscape to bring affordable access to stem cell therapy in the United States.
Our previous approach was to host world class scientific conferences and to share the well known benefits and safety profile of perinatal stem cells. Our new approach is to raise money to sponsor Veteran stem cell treatments, one Vet at a time and to share these amazing healing journeys.
As a though leading organization for the past 14 years in the Perinatal Stem Cell and Tissue space, we will continue to host scientific conferences and to provide training and certification for stem cell practicianers going forward but the main areas where we put our time and resources is to bring perinatal stem cell therapy to Veterans.

Who We Are
The International Perinatal Stem Cell Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded on the basic principle that stem cells from perinatal tissues contain enormous, untapped life potential to treat many diseases and disorders.
Perinatal stem cell sources include:

After a birth, the collection and donation of the perinatal tissues offers absolutely no risk to either the mother or to the newborn. Often these abundant resources of stem cells and tissue are considered medical waste and are disposed of after a birth.
Our Founding Principals
In 2013, the International Perinatal Stem Cell Society, Inc. a non-profit (501(c)(3) organization was founded on the basic principle that stem cells from perinatal tissues contain enormous, untapped life potential to treat many diseases and disorders. Perinatal stem cell sources include: amnion, amniotic fluid, cord blood, cord tissue/wharton’s jelly, as well as placental blood and placental tissue. Perinatal stem cells are formed around the time of birth and are classified as adult stem cells but they really are more primitive then stem cells found in bone marrow or adipose tissue or other traditional sources of adult stem cells and as such, have greater therapeutic potential.

History of Our World-Class
Scientific Conferences
The International Perinatal Stem Cell Society, Inc. was founded in 2013 with the express purpose of bringing more attention to the field of Perinatal Stem Cells. At the time the stem cell community and the major stem cell conferences were glancing over the topic of Perinatal Tissue sources for regenerative medicine. Our society set out to change this and after 10 years of hard work Perinatal Stem Cells and Tissues are a central focus for the regenerative medicine field.
After editing our 3rd edition of Perinatal Stem Cells in 2011, we decided it was time to create a non-profit and to hold a conference. The International Perinatal Stem Cell Society, Inc was incorporated in May 2013.
We held our first conference in 2014 in Berkeley, CA as part of the Regenerative Medicine Foundation and this meeting was an incredible success. C. Randal Mills gave the best talk in the space I have ever heard to date at this conference.
In 2016, we held a two day conference in Aspen, CO. This was an incredible conference and we should have just kept doing our annual conference over and over in Aspen. A classic case of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
In 2017, we hosted the first of a multiyear conference run 2018, 2019, and 2020 at the Leonardo Museum in Salt Lake City, UT. The March 2020 conference was one of the last events that took place prior to Covid changed the world.
In 2020, we had a second and larger conference planned to take place in May in Prague, Czech Republic which had to be cancelled due to Covid-19. Everyone who planned to attend this conference was going to head to Paris for the ICST conference.
In 2022, we held a conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Throughout the 14 years of its existence, the International Perinatal Stem Cell Society has focused on working with industry and regulators to bring the field of Perinatal Stem Cells and Tissue regenerative medicine products to patients. We are now bringing stem cell therapies to Veterans and First Responders.

Couples now have choices about these
valuable resources! • Discarding perinatal tissues • Donating the perinatal tissue • Banking the perinatal tissue and cord blood in a private cord blood bank for the child that has just been born or for his/her family. |
