State legislation in states such as Utah, Nevada, Washington State and Florida are making stem cell therapy legal in the United States. However, although the laws enacted by these states are a great first step, they also leave much room for improvement.
Patient Safety & Informed Consent
One of the core values of the Perinatal Stem Cell Society is patient safety and informed consent of the risks of stem cell therapy.
In order to create robust and safe access to stem cell therapy, the Perinatal Society has launched a certification program to help train medical practitioners on how to properly introduce stem cell therapy to their patients and how to properly administer the various stem cell products on the market.
